Aluminium Hopper Head Installation
The installation process of our aluminium hopper heads is straightforward. They are typically screw fixed through the rear using two pipe fixing screws. The outlet spigots on the bottom are designed to connect directly into the rainwater downpipe below. It is important to select the correct hopper head that matches the downpipe system for an effective installation.
We recommend that the rear of the hoppers be site cut to accept the horizontal pipe from the flat roof. A 30mm to 50mm profiled cut from the top lip of the hopper, to accept the outlet pipe, will hide the connection and prevent water overshoot. This simple step will ensure that it functions optimally.
