How To Cut Aluminium Fascia Panels
For clean, accurate modifications on-site, we highly recommend using an angle grinder fitted with a 1mm wide metal cutting blade. It is crucial that the blade is dipped into tallow, which will lubricate the blade, prevent heat build-up, stop burrs from forming, and provide a perfectly neat cut. Any slight burrs that do occur can be quickly taken off with a fine metal file.
Alternatively, circular skill saws, jigsaws, and mitre saws equipped with dedicated metal-cutting blades are also typically used to cut our aluminium items down to size.
